2-in-1
The Kohler Converge R26701-BN is a 2-in-1 combo. In its complete form, you will only see one entire, large-sized showerhead. However, what’s special about it is that you can detach the perimeter of the showerhead and turn it into a hand shower. While you’re not using the hand shower, this portion stays attached to the showerhead with a robust magnetic docking base.
Beautiful Design
Each company has its approach to building a 2-in-1 shower. Nonetheless, one thing that we cannot deny is that Kohler has one of the most unique and beautiful designs out there. The shower, by itself, already looks quite sleek, elegant, and modern. But when you detach the hand shower, the hollowed-out rectangular shape of the hand-shower seems like the company has just plucked it right out of a sci-fi movie.
But for such an expensive shower combo, it’s a shame that it still has plastic parts in its design. While the hand shower is made out of metal, the showerhead is cast out of plastic. We’re not exactly huge fans of plastic, because it doesn’t have a good track record of being durable or long-lasting.
In terms of aesthetics, anyone touring your shower wouldn’t know that part of the shower is plastic. Kohler has coated the shower with a vibrant brushed nickel finish, making it look and feel luxurious at the same time. The finish, along with the beautiful design, will make it an impressive bathroom décor for sure.
Wide Range of Unique Spray Settings
The Kohler Converge will give you five spray settings: Infinity (Patented), Silk, Full Coverage, Infinity Plus, and Silk Plus.
The Infinity spray mode is the most loved feature of this shower according to customers, depending on the distance between your body and the showerhead, you will experience three completely separate experiences. Stand close and the flow will be strong, allowing you to completely clean your body (Complete Cleanse). Half-way and it’ll be a soothing massage (Refreshing Massage). A bit further, and the flow will turn into a soft, relaxing rinse (Delicate Rinse).
You can fluently switch in-between spray settings by pushing the metal button at the center of the showerhead.
